Lewis Hamilton sold his $30 million supercar collection, viewing cars as art rather than toys, and only a Ferrari F40 could tempt him back. This shift demonstrates that owning stuff doesn't equal happiness for even car enthusiasts.

Ed Catmull explained that failure has two sides. Academically, it’s just part of learning. Emotionally, it feels like weakness, and that fear stops people from trying. He stressed that leaders must make it safe for employees to be creative, even when things go wrong. Disney’s turnaround proved it. The same team that once struggled thrived once the fear was removed.

Apple is developing OLED MacBook Pros with touchscreens for 2026, reversing its previous argument against touchscreen Macs. This move will prompt Mac app redesigns, creating a billion-dollar software gold rush for developers who adapt first.

The guy Speed just met is Peter Lenahan, who contributed to HTTP/1.1 discussions. That version didn’t invent downloading, but it made the web’s downloading experience faster and more reliable with features like persistent connections, chunked transfers, and better caching.

Tim Berners-Lee, the creator of the World Wide Web, even discussed it with him via email — something you can find online with a simple Google search of both their names. That’s exactly what Peter got Speed to do in this video.

The internet is the result of a handful of people who chose not to make it entirely profit-based but instead create something good for humanity. So it wouldn’t be surprising if he played a key role in shaping downloading as we know it.

Trump announced an $8 billion Boeing deal with Uzbekistan, creating 35,000 American jobs. The deal, which includes 22,787 Dreamliners, demonstrates that international relationships generate economic value when leaders focus on business, not politics.

Robert Herjavec shared a painful lesson about trust in business. One of his employees quit and exposed the truth: Herjavec’s own sales manager had been secretly running a competing company, diverting deals, and cashing checks behind his back.

The betrayal showed him how devastating it can be when the people closest to you take advantage. His takeaway was blunt: no matter how good-hearted you are, in business you must always protect yourself.

Real success requires long-term commitment, something most companies avoid by thinking only in short 2–3 year timelines. In reality, meaningful projects often take close to a decade to succeed. When you commit from the start to that kind of horizon, you make better decisions, hire differently, and approach challenges with more resilience. According to Altman, this mindset is one of the last true advantages in business: the willingness to think and act long term when almost no one else does.

Bulgarian rural life or city life?

Follow @Bulgaria

🎥 @minadimitrovaa

Rural life in Bulgaria is straightforward.

People wake up early, handle their land, their animals, and their houses.

Most families grow at least some of their own food - vegetables, fruit trees, maybe some grapes for wine or rakia.

A lot of homes still use wood stoves for heating.

Neighbors know each other, everyone helps when needed, and the rhythm is slower than in the cities.

Jack Ma had the balls to go head-to-head with the US e-commerce industry while sitting in Zhejiang Province, China.

He didn’t have Silicon Valley behind him. He didn’t have Wall Street money pouring in. What he had was belief, vision, and the guts to challenge giants like eBay and Amazon from his small base in Hangzhou.

Jack built Alibaba into a global powerhouse by outworking, outsmarting, and outlasting his rivals.

One of the most ruthless entrepreneurs from China, he proved that ambition knows no borders.

you can’t predict how people will react to something entirely new. Instead of debating endlessly, launch it, test it, and learn from real feedback. Too many companies waste time analyzing when they could simply put it in front of customers.

An early investor once told Brian Chesky not to worry about people stealing his idea. If it was truly good, most wouldn’t recognize it anyway.

That stuck with him. Because the biggest ideas are often misunderstood at first, and founders need to hold steady in that solitude until others finally see it.

Krish Himmatramka started Do Amore in 2014 with $18,000 in savings, determined to build an ethical jewelry brand that created impact beyond profits. Every ring was made with recycled metals and conflict-free diamonds, and every sale helped fund clean water projects around the world.

When he pitched Shark Tank in 2022, he asked for $600,000 for 6% equity. Daniel Lubetzky offered $600,000 for 15%, with 3% dedicated to charity, and Krish accepted on air. The deal didn’t close after the show, but the company kept growing.

By 2024, Do Amore crossed $12 million in sales and funded clean water for more than 20,000 people across 11 countries. Proof that a business built on values doesn’t need one big deal to thrive.
