Hidrent made a powerful impression on Shark Tank with its mission to connect off-duty firefighters to people who need help with small home tasks like fixing lights, installing smoke detectors, or moving furniture.
Founded by a former firefighter, the app was built on trust, reliability, and community service. The pitch resonated deeply with the Sharks, highlighting how Hidrent not only provides homeowners with skilled, dependable help but also gives firefighters a safe and flexible way to earn extra income. The idea stood out as both practical and purposeful—showing that a business built on genuine service can create real impact.
